Starting to lay the Foundation

We are so thrilled to be actually standing
on our new foundation

Tom, Jr. and Griffin are the first to
view the inscriptions

Finished Foundation

This photo speaks for itself.
Even though Katrina's wrath destroyed the city
of Waveland, we wanted to mark this date because
"out of ruins came new life" our new home "One Eleven".

All our names--Lundins One Eleven--date started
Date slab poured--and (out of view) Katrina date

Darlene, in far right corner of the slab,
putting the finishing touches.

The spreaders are working very quickly as to
keep up with the pourers.

After filling the 5' deep holes, they begin to fill
in the bottom floor. Note in the background
the storage room has already been done.

Tommy checking the bracing while the concrete
is being poured.
